I am not sure where this agent is, but in BC you must be a licensed Mortgage Broker to offer mortgage advice to buyers. BC agents - please beware and partner with your local mortgage brokers rather than risk the rath of FICOM.

I don't see Periscope lasting as a used tool in real estate. There are a few rare occasions when it might come in handy, but by and large, it's very gimmicky. Remember, the technology should fit and complement your business model and strategy. Not the other way around.

@Nels Katzman - if you have an Android phone, a great mortgage calculator is Karl's Mortgage Calculator. It has all the options you need to calculate a mortgage, and gives pretty detailed breakdowns. And it's free.
