Real estate agents are looking at different strategies for selling as the market changes the dynamic of the late summer season.

I have been in the business now for 38 years and frankly it is not news that SEPTEMBER is better than AUGUST. AUGUST is typically the holiday month. People who have school age children have already made their purchase by this time and those not concerned about moving during a school year start looking again in September.

I have grave concerns for buyers over borrowing with rates low and multiple offers inciting bidding wars. How will they cope when rates rise in 5 years or so down the road. I look at the long term affects for buyers and sellers and what has been happening is truly worrisome.

Thank you for your article and information. It's good to know there's still some life coming up in the market - in September.
