A massive drug seizure has led to the arrest of a respected real estate developer, who is facing several charges and will learn his fate when he appears before a judge in September

Now if they would only start charging and convicting all the Realtor's that RECA allows to forfeit their licences after they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar!

Firstly, the RECA is NOT the RCMP and does not have the power then to do more then take away the license of wrong doing Realtors. In the case of wrong doing on the part of a Realtor or any citizen of this Country, it is up to the police and Crown Counsel to determine whether criminal charges are warranted and whether to proceed on a file or not. Like any good citizen I am sure the RECA is quite willing to cooperate with the police if called upon to do so.

    Unfortunately RECA self police themselves.
