In its latest bid for market supremacy, Royal LePage Northern Advantage has recently acquired an agency based in Sault Ste. Marie, positioning itself for better consumer access and greater presence in the locale.

According to an April 12 announcement, long-time Royal LePage realtors Carl Thomas and Steve McGuire have acquired The Real Estate Stop earlier this month.

“This expansion of operations provides Royal LePage Northern Advantage with two offices now in the Sault Ste. Marie area and positions them for strong market share leadership in terms of units sold,” the announcement in the Royal LePage Leading Edge blog stated.

The acquisition brings the total number of Royal LePage Northern Advantage offices to four, covering a wide swathe including the aforementioned Sault Ste. Marie as well as Blind River, Echo Bay, Goulais River, Montreal River, The North Shore, Searchmont, and much more.

“Danny Alessandrini, former broker/owner at The Real Estate Shop, will assume a sales role along with the 10 agents who remain at the Real Estate Shop’s original office location on Queen Street,” Royal LePage said.
